Why do I need to share my personal data when registering?
We need to take some basic information so that you can take full advantage of our services. All we need is your full name, your date of birth so we can confirm that you're legally allowed to sign up and both an email and a brick-and-mortar address so we can contact you.
Why do I see two different verification options?
Here at bwin, we have two different ways to verify your account, so you can use whichever method works better for you. Please remember that you only need to verify using one of the procedures.
Is it safe to upload my personal documents?
We guarantee that your documents are secure from the moment they leave your PC. We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology, so you can be sure that your documents won't be intercepted when uploading via the internet. After we receive your documents, we store them in a highly protected data centre, which protects your information against unauthorised access. Only employees specifically hired to verify documentation will have access to these data centres.
What if I fail the verification process?
As we offer multiple methods to verify your account, you can either re-try the method you attempted to first time (making sure to double-check your details so that they match your account) or you can attempt the other procedure that we offer. Both ways can be used to verify your account, and only one needs to be completed to get back to the action.
Why wasn't my ID accepted?
Your ID won't be accepted if it is unreadable. It must clearly show your first name, last name, date of birth and a photo of yourself.
What if I don't verify my account?
We are legally obliged to clearly identify all our customers and their respective ages. We are required to do this as a regulated and licenced business as well as by Canadian law. If you do not complete our verification checks, we will have no choice but to place restrictions on your account, these may include inability to deposit, play or withdraw funds.
Why are you checking my credit rating?
When we perform behind-the-scenes verification for your name, address and date of birth – we utilise third parties. This can leave an imprint on your credit file. If you'd like to remove this, please contact your provider and they will be more than happy to remove it for you.
Why can't I deposit or withdraw from my account?
You won't be able to deposit or withdraw any funds until you have completed the verification process. As soon as the checks have been competed, you will be able to use your account as usual.
